Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our families face, A Fighting Chance Foundation is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our services. While our efforts are driven by our organization’s singular focus, we endeavor to help as many animals and families as we are able.

Our goal is to support the elderly, disabled and those whose total household income does not greatly exceed the current Federal poverty guidelines who need help providing life-saving or emergency care for their pet. When given a choice between necessities for their children or medical care for a pet, people are forced into difficult decisions.

A Fighting Chance Foundation aims to reduce this burden by providing supplemental grants for those who qualify, and as funding permits. We will pay the veterinarian directly to decrease costs for low income pet owners saving their pet.

Each pet and situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Directors. Each applicant will be assessed based on the foundation’s eligibility guidelines and if all criteria are met, the foundation will evaluate the application and determine if funds will be granted, based on need and funds availability. All grants will be allocated to the veterinarian on the applicant’s behalf. Grants are limited to once per applicant, per pet.
